INTRODUCING ADVANCED TRAINING IN AGRICULTURE
AMID PLANS FOR COMBINING DONSOCO FARMS® AQUAPONICS IN UNIVERSITY CURRICULUMS

Donsoco Energy and Donsoco Farms President Dr. Eng. Floris Brand in Nairobi, Kenya articulated that “by combining Donsoco Farms® sustainable aquaponics agriculture model, which integrates Donsoco Energy® clean water and energy technologies, with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology curriculum through DONSOCO JKUAT Agricultural Innovation Platform, intern students will have the opportunity to gain and maximize their experience, learn state of the art organic farming principles, receive a share of marketable produce, free training, and a salary-based stipend with full time employment upon school graduation and valuable training in Donsoco Farms® organic food facilities.” According to Dr. Brand, these facilities are planned for development throughout Kenya.

Dr. Brand also uttered a very important social responsibility benefit of the impending venture saying that “the Donsoco Farms® project main objective is investing in Kenyan human resources and organic aquaponics food growing farms throughout all Kenyan Counties beginning with Nairobi City and Kwale counties.” He moreover expressed that “in partnership with the DONSOCO JKUAT Agricultural Platform, the Donsoco Farms project will be built around a very result-oriented, diverse, and successful international management team comprised of Kenyan Agriculturists, Agriscientists and Environmental Experts, with the development and training of local Kenyans completed at Jomo Kenyatta University School of Agriculture and Technology campuses and centres throughout Kenya.”
